Credo & Co. Catholic Trading Cards

2026

This one was a student project, but it's the kind of idea I'd genuinely want to see exist.

Credo & Co. is a made-up trading card company built around a simple question: what if saints got the same treatment as superheroes? Collectible cards, foil packs, stat-style breakdowns, the whole hobby-shop experience, just pointed at figures like Saint Michael and Padre Pio instead of athletes or comic characters.

The branding leans straight into that tension on purpose. It has to feel reverent enough to belong in a Catholic bookstore, but collectible enough to belong in a card shop. So the identity borrows heavily from classic trading card language, foil borders, rank-style stat blocks, "collectors edition" badging, while keeping the palette and typography rooted in something older and more sacred. Deep navy, aged gold, a serif wordmark with real weight to it.

Each card is treated less like a portrait and more like a profile.

Feast day, primary attribute, patronage, a memorable quote, a short biography, laid out the same way you'd expect a rookie card to break down stats. It turns devotion into something you can hold, trade, and actually collect.

The packaging carries that same balance. Clean, boxed, a little bit premium, with a mission quote on the back instead of a tagline, and just enough shelf presence to look at home next to any other collectible card box.

It's a strange pitch on paper. Sacred art meets pack-opening hype. But once you see it laid out, it makes complete sense.
